Rare Opportunity to acquire prime 3-storey conservation shophouse along Mohamed Sultan Road

SINGAPORE, 7 January 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle, as exclusive agent, is pleased to present an opportunity to acquire a prime, 999 year leasehold conservation shophouse along Mohammed Sultan Road.

15 Mohammed Sultan Road is an existing 3-storey shophouse zoned for residential use with commercial at the first storey. With an existing gross floor area of 6,862 sq ft, there is potential to add a further 3,000 sq ft as rear extension. Located a block away from the Singapore River, it is only a few minutes walk to the upcoming Fort Canning MRT station on the Downtown line.

Ashish Manchharam, Regional Director at Jones Lang Lasalle comments “This offering is a rare opportunity to acquire a prime shophouse as properties along Mohammed Sultan Road are rarely for sale. The location has been transforming as new food & beverage establishments, hotels and residential blocks have been completed. Furthermore, the ability to extend the rear of the property up to 5 floors, has potential to further enhance the future value of the property.”

The tender exercise will close at 3pm on 20 February 2013 (Wednesday).
