Growth in Jones Lang LaSalle Singapore Business drives Key Leadership Appointments


SINGAPORE, 12 November 2009 – In line with improvement in market condition and demonstrated optimism in the Singapore market Jones Lang LaSalle is pleased to announce several key senior   appointments for its Singapore Business within Investment and Commercial Leasing, Residential Project Sales and Retail services.

Dr Megan Walters, who will officially commence her role on 4 January 2010 as National Director of our Singapore Investment and Markets business, has over 20 years of real estate experience. In this role, she will be responsible for presenting and disseminating information on real estate market opportunities and services to Jones Lang LaSalle corporate and investor clients. Dr Walters was previously Head of Asia Pacific Research and Business Analytics Group, Cushman and Wakefield Asia Pacific, where she built and led the regional research group that tracks and reports on real estate trends, including writing regularly on macro economic factors affecting real estate.   Her prior experience also includes a position with at Bovis Lend Lease in London, and consulting and lecturing roles in Hong Kong.

Dr Walters has a PhD in Institutional Economics of Corporate Real Estate Asset Management. She is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and sits on their Global Council and Asia Pacific Education board.

David Neubronner joined the firm in October 2009, bringing over 25 years of real estate experience to Jones Lang LaSalle specifically in formulating sales strategies and executing disposal of prime residential assets. In his role as Head of Singapore Residential Project Sales, Mr Neubronner is joined by James Lam, Marketing Manager; Cynthia Wong, Senior Sales Manager and Choo Chew Cai, Sales Manager, who all have an impressive track record in the sales of residential properties in Singapore.

Mr Neubronner’s prior experience includes positions with Savills Residential, Chesterton International, Cluttons London Residential Agency and Jones Lang Wootton.  Mr Neubronner has a BA from the National University of Singapore.

Regarding the appointment of David Neubronner, Mr Fossick commented “David and his team bring in-depth experience and new ideas on real estate services and thought-leadership that will greatly complement and enhance Jones Lang LaSalle’s quality service delivery to clients. His appointment is in line with our ambition to expand our business into new areas and become a leader in the residential property sales market.”

In line with current development such as the Integrated Resorts and new shopping centres at Orchard Road and to complement our strong capital markets offering in retail the Jones Lang LaSalle retail leasing team welcomes Lee Siew Ling as Associate Director and Jesse Wu as Senior Manager.
