This International Women’s Day and every day, we are proud to recognize our inspiring women leaders and allies at JLL.
Who is a female inspiration/role model to you and why?
I have been very fortunate in my life to be surrounded by strong women who instilled the belief that I can do anything. My mom was my first role model – and she is still my inspiration in so many ways. I have also been very lucky in my career to work with so many inspiring women, including my incredible sister! They have taught me how to stand up for myself while being an advocate for those around me, and most importantly how to be a great wife and mom and have an amazing career.
How are you inspiring women to achieve their ambitions at JLL?
I feel a strong sense of responsibility to inspire female colleagues at JLL to achieve their ambitions. I do my best to inspire as a role model and an example of the endless growth potential at JLL. I am a mentor to women across at the firm, and an active supporter of promotions and stretch opportunities.
Why does inclusion matter to you?
At JLL, we have worked diligently to improve our diversity across all areas – including gender, ethnicity, age, background, orientation, etc. And I feel passionately that we are more successful –and we are happier! –when we create an inclusive environment that harnesses the power of our diversity.
