JLL makes key appointment to strengthen logistics and industrial business in Singapore
Pamela Siow joins real estate firm as Singapore’s Head of Logistics and Industrial Capital Markets
SINGAPORE, 6 January 2022 – JLL has appointed Pamela Siow as the Head of Logistics and Industrial Capital Markets in Singapore, bolstering the team’s capabilities in one of Asia Pacific’s fastest-growing real estate sectors.
Pamela will be responsible for creating growth opportunities with new clients and deepening existing client relationships through strategic and timely solutions. She will be reporting to Ms Ting Lim, Head of Capital Markets, JLL Singapore and Mr Tom Woolhouse, Head of Logistics and Industrial, JLL Asia Pacific.
“We’re excited to welcome Pamela to our team to support the dynamic growth of the logistics and industrial sector in Singapore. She will be pivotal in generating platform and asset level transactions and serve as an ambassador for clients in the logistics and industrial sector. With her knowledge and expertise, Pamela will provide clients with invaluable insights as they seek new investment opportunities in 2022 and beyond,” says Ting.
According to JLL, investment into Asia Pacific logistics and industrial real estate will double within the next three to five years as investors look to increase exposure to the asset class. The real estate firm forecasts logistics and industrial investment volumes to rise to $50-60 billion between 2023-2025 from US$25-30 billion in 2019-2020.
Tom adds: “As occupier demand for modern logistics facilities continue to grow, we are seeing increased investor interest and capital allocation in the industrial sector. Having someone like Pamela in the team reinforces our commitment to providing clients with comprehensive advice and supporting them with future-proofing their logistics investment strategies. Our team’s extensive experience on both the advisory and principal side of capital markets deals will add significant value to our clients.”
Pamela joins from Sabana Real Estate Investment Management, where she was Head of Investment and Asset Management, growing opportunities in asset management, leasing, disposition, and AEI.
Prior to that, she was a Director of Capital Markets and Investment Services at Colliers International, leading the industrial investment sales team. She represented REITs and institutional clients in pursuing disposition and acquisition opportunities. She also drove significant sale and leaseback opportunities with multinational and end-user industrialist clients.
She has a Master’s in Real Estate Investment and Finance, and over 25 years of experience with a focus on industrial and mixed developments. Pamela’s background includes REITs, private funds, investment and asset management, acquisitions and divestments, investment sales, and real estate consultancy and advisory.
