Current Responsibilities
As Head of JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group Transaction Advisory for Southeast Asia, Calvin primarily focused on providing buy-side advisory as well as the valuation of hotel assets, feasibility and strategic consultancy work.
Experience
Since joining the Hotels & Hospitality Group in 2012, Calvin’s experience within the hospitality sector has been focused on buy-side advice for private equity firms, spot reviews and hospitality solutions to owners with specific business challenges and analysis of market dynamics for entry into emerging destinations. Over the last few years, he has played a primary role as a advisor to key deals in the region such as GIC’s acquisition of the Seibu portfolio and KSL’s acquisition of assets in the Maldives.
Calvin has also been a part of the Singapore Advisory team working on a range of hospitality consulting projects around Asia. With a focus on valuations and pricing guidance, He has assessed a wide range of assets on behalf of clients ranging from trophy properties such as Velaa Private Island and One & Only Reethi Rah to global portfolios for GIC, ADIA and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
Education and Affiliations
Calvin holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration with a minor in Real Estate from Cornell University.
