Current Responsibilities
As Vice President of JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group, Joshua is primarily focused on strategic advisory assignments including market demand and financial feasibility studies as well as valuations of hospitality assets across South-East Asia and the Indian Ocean. He is also involved in hotel asset management assignments in the Maldives and Bali.
Experience
Since joining the team in July 2017, Joshua has been actively involved on various advisory and valuation assignments for Asian and International clients across South-East Asia and the Indian Ocean. He is also currently involved in the asset management of two hotel assets across Asia, an upscale resort in the Maldives and a midscale hotel in Bali.
Prior to joining the Hotels & Hospitality Group, Joshua was part of the JLL Graduate Trainee Program, during which he rotated across several departments within JLL. Previous rotations include JLL Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), where he did business development and consulting. He subsequently went on to JLL Markets, where he was involved in tenant and landlord representation, advising corporate clients and landlords on corporate real estate (CRE) strategies. His last rotation prior to Hotels was in Valuations, where he worked on various valuation projects involving different asset classes on behalf of private and institutional clients.
Besides being fluent in English language, Joshua is also conversant in Mandarin.
Education and Affiliations
Joshua holds a Four-year Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore, where he graduated with Second Upper Class Honours.
